Feelgood Space Flight is a free first-person space flight game that runs in a web browser, with no download and no account. You sit in the cockpit of a ship with real momentum and fly it through a star system: planets with weather and terrain, painted nebulae, a sun you can fall into, and a black hole that bends the light around it. Gravity pulls on the ship. Descend far enough and the atmosphere thickens, the horizon flattens, and you can land, leave the cockpit and walk the surface on foot — through towns, into buildings, and out to the stranger places the system keeps.
W thrusts and S reverses, the mouse steers, F or J engages warp, space brakes, N opens the nav chart, and the comma and period keys work the radio. C leaves the pilot seat to walk the ship's own corridor, G lands and puts you on the surface, and Backspace pauses. On a phone or tablet, hold the device in landscape and use the on-screen sticks.
Built by JFeelgood with three.js and WebGL. The paintings hanging in the Orbital Art Gallery, and the nebulae that take their colours from them, are JFeelgood's own work. The ship's radio plays music by Wave Collector, the electronic project of Neal Wright.
